July 27: Lake Arrowhead Rotary Classic
Founded by the late Scott Hughes as a fundraiser for the Gavin R. Stevens Foundation, Lake Arrowhead Rotary is continuing the tradition. Last year some 2,000 visitors viewed more than 100 classic cars and motorcycles along the shore of beautiful Lake Arrowhead.

Pomona Valley recognized for imaging excellence

REACH summer business camp
During the three-week camp, students learned management and organization, marketing, economics, accounting, finance, entrepreneurship, and environmental sustainability. Participants also attended college admissions and financial aid workshops led by three University of La Verne counselors, as well as two SAT sessions.

It was clear to me that Elina’s disability had given her a passion for her research and a unique perspective into various subjects, helping to distinguish her research from others.
