Aaron Yohnke was predestined for a career in construction as the next in succession for his family-owned construction business. Groomed from a young age, he worked in estimating and project management before becoming vice president in his early twenties. Despite his success within the family business, Yohnke wanted to experience the larger world of construction and build complex projects, teams, and ultimately business units. This led him to PCL, where he started as field engineer and advanced to project manager in mere months.

In 2019, Yohnke received another prominent opportunity as district manager for PCL’s Los Angeles area, the fast-growing district in the company, and was also named vice president. Under his leadership, PCL’s Los Angeles area continued to deliver unrivaled projects and experiences earning him another opportunity for promotion in 2021 to oversee PCL’s California Buildings unit as senior vice president.
