Dana Hirsch Lipman is a distinguished C-Suite executive and general counsel with over 25 years of experience, specializing in legal and business matters, including human resources, compliance, governance, employment law, organizational leadership and diversity, equity & inclusion (DEI).
Lipman has dedicated herself to the nonprofit world and helping others through a variety of roles and initiatives. With a deep commitment to social causes, she has leveraged her skills and passion to drive positive change in communities. In that capacity, Lipman has held leadership positions in various nonprofit organizations, where she has focused on strategic planning, legal initiatives and program development to enhance the impact of these organizations. She has been actively involved in community outreach programs, working directly with underserved populations to understand their needs and provide effective support. She has been a vocal advocate for various social issues, raising awareness and mobilizing resources to address critical challenges. Her advocacy work has often involved collaboration with other organizations and stakeholders to amplify the impact of her efforts.

In her current role, as the general counsel and SVP of human resources and labor relations for the Entertainment Industry Foundation (EIF) and Stand UpTo Cancer (SU2C), Lipman oversees all legal, human resources and risk/compliance functions, including contract negotiations and drafting, litigation, mediation/arbitration, investigations, policies and procedures, talent acquisition and recruitment, diversity, equity and inclusion, compensation and benefits, employee relations, training and development, employee reward programs and all HRIS and office support functions for all employees in more than 20 states and for over 30 fiscal program partners.

Jonathan M. Eisenberg, deputy general counsel for the AIDS Healthcare Foundation, has been a lawyer since 1996, beginning his career as a law clerk for U.S. District Judge Linda H. McLaughlin. He spent nine years in private law firms and 14 years as a deputy attorney general at the California Department of Justice. For the past three years, Eisenberg has served as deputy general counsel for litigation at the AIDS Healthcare Foundation (AHF). He has played a crucial role in litigating against pharmacy-benefit managers to ensure AHF’s compensation for HIV/AIDS care and guided the organization in a notable Supreme Court case regarding real estate projects tied to bribery (AHF v. City of L.A., 2022).

Teddy Low is the senior deputy county counsel with the Los Angeles Office of County Counsel, advising the Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority (LA Metro) on its most critical rail procurement and construction projects, valued at over $30 billion. His responsibilities include managing legal issues for key infrastructure projects such as the Sepulveda Transit Corridor, Link Union Station and the San Fernando Light Rail Transit. Low specializes in procurement, public-private partnerships (P3s) and construction manager/general contractor (CMGC) deliveries. He also handles all major legal claims related to these projects and leads solicitations for new contracts, expected to add over $20 billion in value. Prior to joining LA Metro in 2016, he served as a city prosecutor, trial attorney and counsel for cities and public agencies.

Nethercott is the general counsel at LA Family Housing, a leading organization addressing homelessness and affordable housing in the U.S. With nearly 20 years of legal experience, she began her career as a corporate litigator at Foley Hoag LLP, focusing on white-collar issues and government investigations. She later advised defense sector clients on FCPA compliance at a boutique law firm in Washington, D.C. Seeking to make a greater impact, Nethercott transitioned to the nonprofit sector, first serving as chief compliance officer at the LA Conservation Corps. In her two years at LA Family Housing, she established compliance and risk management functions, created a new real estate development entity (LAFH BUILDS) and resolved several class action and PAGA matters.
