Business by LA Times Studios presents the 30 largest accounting and business advisory firms ranked by the number of CPAs in Los Angeles County offices. Ernst & Young LLP is the largest firm in Los Angeles County with 621 CPAs. The firm employs more than 2,200 accounting professionals locally. It is followed by PwC and Deloitte, respectively.
Among the top 10 firms listed, West Los Angeles-based HCVT is the only firm with local headquarters. HCVT has 217 CPAs in Los Angeles County and more than 500 local employees. The firm has new offices in San Diego and Salt Lake City and expanded into Phoenix and Denver.
CBIZ acquired Marcum LLP, effective November 1, 2024. Thenumbers reported are reflective of post-transaction. CBIZ is a consulting, tax and financial services provider that works closely with CBIZ CPAs P.C., an independent CPA firm that provides audit, review and other attest services.
Overall, the 30 largest firms employ 3,346 CPAs in Los Angeles County and have more than 12,800 total staff.
