Asal Nazi is Chief Financial Officer of Cult Gaia, a luxury fashion and lifestyle brand based in Los Angeles, known for its artistic design sensibility. Born in Tehran, Asal moved to California at 15, bringing with her a deep sense of resilience and a strong desire to build something meaningful. She earned her degree in engineering with a minor in accounting from CSU Long Beach. While still in school, she took a role at a construction company, giving her hands-on experience in financial operations and leadership. Her curiosity for business led her to a VP of Finance role and then to a high-growth tech company. For the past five years, Asal has worked to grow and evolve the Cult Gaia brand. Under her financial leadership, the company has expanded by 700%. Her engineering background also helped her lead the development of Cult Gaia’s brick-and-mortar retail spaces, translating the founder’s creative vision into physical environments that reflect the brand’s unique aesthetic.
