
Sunbit Appoints Shai Terem as Chief Financial Officer
Los Angeles-based financial technology company Sunbit has announced the appointment of Shai Terem as chief financial officer. Terem brings more than 15 years of executive leadership spanning growth strategy, financial operations and capital markets, which will be instrumental as Sunbit continues to scale its platform and prepares for its next phase of growth and maturity. He most recently served as president and CEO of Markforged, where he led the company’s public listing with a $2.1-billion valuation, raising $425 million in the process. During Terem’s tenure, he oversaw strategic acquisitions, expanded the product portfolio and grew sales, while navigating the company through challenging macroeconomic cycles.
GISI Announces Appointment of Scott Kolbrenner as President and Chief Strategy Officer
Global Infrastructure Solutions Inc. (GISI) has announced the appointment of Scott Kolbrenner as president and chief strategy officer. Peter Murray Named CEO of Agile Occupational Medicine
Angeles Equity Partners, LLC, a private investment firm, and Kain Capital LLC, a private equity firm focused on healthcare services and healthcare technology companies, have announced Peter Murray as CEO of Agile Occupational Medicine. Murray, formerly COO of Agile, has been instrumental in shaping the company’s strategy and operational trajectory. He successfully led the integration of six acquisitions that unified 23 clinics under one platform and is now guiding the combination with Akeso Occupational Health. Based in California, Agile has become the nation’s second-largest independent occupational medicine provider, delivering superior care to help employees recover from work-related injuries.
Brandon Williams Now Heads Private Banking and Wealth Management for City National Bank
City National Bank has announced the appointment of Brandon Williams as executive vice president and head of private banking and wealth management. Williams brings more than 25 years of financial services industry experience and a solid track record of building and leading high-performing businesses in wealth management and private banking. He will report directly to Howard Hammond, president and chief executive officer. Williams joined City National in 2016 and has served as the head of East Coast private banking, focused on helping high-net-worth individuals and families, professional service firms and nonprofit organizations achieve their unique financial goals. He helped drive significant growth by expanding into new markets, strengthening client relationships and consistently delivering results. Williams has been leading the private banking and wealth management division on an interim basis since June 2025.
Billy Joe McLain Returns to Hueston Hennigan
Hueston Hennigan has announced the addition of Billy Joe McLain, an award-winning former federal prosecutor, as of counsel in its Los Angeles office. An experienced trial lawyer, McLain spent nearly a decade in the U.S. Attorney’s Offices for the Central and Southern Districts of California, where he prosecuted some of those districts’ most complex matters, including one of the largest hospital bribery schemes in California history. Most recently, he served as the associate U.S. attorney and member of the senior leadership team in the Central District, the largest U.S. Attorney’s Office in the country. His practice at Hueston Hennigan will focus on trial work, white collar defense and civil litigation. Before becoming a federal prosecutor, McLain was an associate at Hueston Hennigan.
