Business by LA Times Studios presents the 30 largest architecture firms ranked by Southern California architectural fee income for 2024. Firms have been active over the past year with mergers, expansions and executive promotions.
Gensler is the largest firm in the region with fee income of $247.3 million in Southern California, up from $238.5 million in 2023. The architectural giant has offices in L.A. and Newport Beach, with 148 licensed architects. AO, which is headquartered in the city of Orange, is second on the list with $104.6 million in fee income.
Overall, the largest architectural firms in Southern California generated $1.19 billion in fee income last year. They employ more than 910 licensed architects in 53 local offices.
