Swinerton Builders, which operates local offices in Downtown Los Angeles and Santa Ana, leads the list with $1.3 billion in Southern California revenue last year. Tutor Perini Corp. ranks second on the list due to ongoing construction of major infrastructure projects.
These largest general contractors generated $12.9 billion overall in Southern California revenue last year. They employ more than 8,000 people across 61 local offices.
