As the founder and CEO of SDS Capital Group, Deborah La Franchi has been a force in commercial real estate by launching and managing exceptional impact funds across the United States. She has grown the firm to over $1.7 billion in assets under management, developing innovative private equity models for Permanent Supportive Housing. In 2025, La Franchi launched SDS Impact Debt, a new platform expected to finance more than $1 billion of new housing units in the next 18 months. A graduate of Georgetown University and UCLA, she is also the chair of the Sustainable Communities Fund. To date, the funds she leads have invested in more than 8,000 housing units across the United States.
