Medspa Pilots New Generative Artificial Intelligence Technology

Generative and Agentic AI technology marks a major milestone today with veteran independent medaesthetic practice Blue Spa in Sherman Oaks. This first-in-the-nation program is designed to increase patient engagement and sales by providing a hyperpersonalized skincare regimen coupled with effortless product purchasing and procedure scheduling.

Blue Spa Founder Ronda Nofal is piloting Trinity Aesthetics’ new technology for the 90-day program in what is believed to be the first-known application of Agentic and Generative Artificial Intelligence directly in the medspa sector.

Nofal said, “Trinity’s purpose-built software specifically addresses key industry pain points no other software attempts, while empowering our providers to deliver hyperpersonalized skincare plans to nearly 30,000 clients.”

Trinity’s GenAI technology originally provided datasets to beauty product manufacturers. After successfully working with Procter & Gamble and Estée Lauder Companies’ R&D teams for upstream product development, Trinity’s management realized an opportunity to connect medspa providers, patients and products for hyperpersonalized skincare routines in a frictionless and perpetual way. The resulting platform connects via API into existing software and enhances the provider-patient connection.

Trinity CEO Joseph Panetta said, “This is one of the largest AgenticAI pilots of a live iOS platform ever conducted. We will be sharing results as they unfold over the course of our 90-day program.”

An AI-Powered HR Assistant

Irvine-based Konnect, an independent human resource service provider, has announced the launch of KonnectAi, an AI-powered HR assistant named “Sophie,” custom-built to streamline everyday HR tasks for small businesses to global enterprises. Sophie gives employees instant answers to frequently-asked HR questions from onboarding to performance reviews, helps HR teams reclaim time for strategic work and enables leadership to scale people-first processes without sacrificing trust or empathy.

AI-Fueled Bike Lanes

Hayden AI, a provider of vision AI solutions focused on powering safer, smarter and more efficient cities, has announced that UC San Diego will now deploy its automated bike lane and bus stop enforcement systems to keep bike lanes and bus stops safe and clear of illegally parked vehicles.

UCSD’s new program follows a successful pilot with Hayden AI. In just 59 days, 1,124 parking violations were detected; 88.4% of these violations were blocking the bike lane.

Hayden AI technology will be installed on 15 Triton Transit buses, UCSD’s transportation system, to help enforce these dangerous parking violations that occur on campus. A 60-day warning period will begin in December.

“Clear bike lanes and bus stops are essential to keeping students, faculty, staff and visitors safe as they travel throughout campus,” said Marty Beard, CEO of Hayden AI. “We’re thrilled to bring this practical, proven and secure use of computer vision to their community.”

Hayden AI’s automated enforcement system is installed on transit buses across the United States, including California cities such as Los Angeles, Oakland, Sacramento, Santa Monica, Culver City and West Hollywood. In Washington D.C., this technology has reduced parking violations obstructing bus stops by 32% in one year of enforcement.
