Glendora to host small business workshops The City of Glendora will host the first in a series of business workshops this week aimed at promoting small business growth.

The first workshop, “Marketing Strategies, Social Media,” on March 8 will examine social media marketing techniques and how to use these skills to benefit a personal business.

Glendora economic development specialist Valerie Escalante said the low- and no-cost methods of social media can help strengthen one area where business owners tend to fall short.

This first workshop is free to attend, however, registration is required and must be made on or before March 6.

The workshop will be at the Bidwell Forum, Glendora Public Library, 140 S. Glendora Ave., from 8 to 10 a.m., Friday, March 8 and again from 10 a.m. to noon, Saturday, March 9. The workshops are identical.

To register for this workshop or for more information, call 626-914- 8292 or email vescalante@ ci.glendora.ca.us.
