A scholarship assistance program is available for San Dimas families to help pay for city-sponsored recreation activities such as karate, basketball, jazz dance, music or day camp.

The San Dimas Parks and Recreation Department’s Youth Assistance Scholarship Program is made available by Community Development Block Grant funds. The program encourages participation from households that could otherwise not afford the city’s recreation activities fees.

Households that meet the income level limits can apply through the Parks and Recreation De partment.

Scholarships are awarded based on need and typically cover half of the activity fee. There is a scholarship limit per household and documentation of residency in San Dimas and income of all household residents is required.
