Antonio Signorio was my great great uncle by marriage....he married my great great aunt Anna Ferrero. She was my grandmother Pasqualina Ann Mathilda Ferrero's aunt (my father's great aunt). All of my ancestors immigrated through Ellis island and settled in L.A./Ontario/Guasti/Rancho Cucamonga area to continue the family tradition of wine making, which still continues today in the northern Italian village of St. Stephano Di Asti, Piemonte Regione. Our family is one of the largest wine producers in Northern Italy still today. I am glad you have written the true accounts of Guasti as Antonio Signorio is widely left out of the story and does not get the credit deserved as he was the ORIGINAL owner and wine harvester before Secondo Guasti and he partnered together.
