The Claremont Symphony Orchestra, under the direction of Associate Conductor Ruth Charloff, will present a concert of dance music on Sunday, March 16. Compositions will range from the Waltz from “Eugene Onegin” by Tchaikovsky to selections from “A Chorus Line” by Marvin Hamlisch.

In addition to her duties with the Claremont Symphony, Charloff also conducts the UCR Orchestra, chamber orchestra and the UCR Chamber Singers at UC Riverside.

The program will also include “Four Cornish Dances, Op.91” by Malcolm Arnold, “Marosszek Dances” by Zoltan Kodaly, “Shepherd’s Hey” by Percy Grainger, “Pavane in F sharp minor, Op. 50” by Gabriel Faure and the “Sylvia Ballet Suite” by Leo Delibes.

The free concert will be held at 3 p.m. at Bridges Hall of Music on the campus of Pomona College, 150 E. Fourth St., Claremont. Doors open at 3 p.m.
