Greetings from the vine! The Sycamore Inn, famous for fine hospitality since 1848, is one of our valley’s most distinctive dining destinations and a favorite for celebrations among generations of local residents.

The Sycamore Inn presents multi-course wine and food pairing dinners, and has been awarded the Wine Spectator Award of Excellence consistently over the past 12 years.

A special Winemakers Dinner will take be Thursday evening, July 24, featuring Gary Eberle of Eberle Vineyards. Enjoy a delicious fivecourse dining experience paired with new releases and familiar favorites while visiting with the winemaker himself.

“We are pleased to welcome back Gary Eberle, owner and winemaker of Eberle Winery in Paso Robles. Gary produces some fantastic premium wines and is a great speaker on the subject of wine and food pairing,” said Brady Main, operating partner.

First course: seafood duo of miso day boat scallop and Mexican white shrimp over Asian slaw paired with Eberle 2011 Viognier Paso Robles.

Second course: heirloom tomato salad with balsamic-cabernet vinaigrette paired with Eberle 2013 Syrah Rosé Paso Robles.

Third course: chicken breast braised in red wine with onion, pine nuts and dried plums over jasmine rice paired with Eberle 2012 Barbera Paso Robles.
