Swarmbots played musical chairs during a recent electronics open house at Pomona College. The autonomous swarmbots were built and programmed by a group of 10 high school girls, known as the Femineers, studying engineering at Pomona of Engineering and Design, and Pomona College physics students. The pilot program between the Femineers and Pomona College’s Physics Department started in January, with plans to continue the following academic year.
