 Claremont Village Venture Faire, Oct. 22 The 35th Annual Village Venture Arts and Crafts Faire, located in the Claremont Village, will be 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 22. The event features music, food and the arts and attracts more than 15,000 visitors attracted to the Faire every year. Visitors can get a jump on holiday shopping walking the streets of the Claremont Village, which are lined with 450 booths selling unique art, original crafts and apparel. Other festivities will include a children’s pre-carved pumpkin competition sponsored by Claremont Sunrise Rotary. A traditional children’s Halloween costume parade will begin at 9 a.m. All participants must assemble at the corner of Harvard Ave. and Bonita Ave. by 9:15 a.m. All participants will receive a goodie bag at the end of the parade. No need to worry about parking. A complementary off-site shuttle service will be provided by Pomona Valley Transit Authority.
