The Friends of Upland Animal Shelter first annual Monster Mash Pet Dash will be 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 29 at Upland Memorial Park.

The Monster Mash Pet Dash will help Friends raise vital funds to care for homeless animals as well as provide low-cost pet services and programs within our community.

Activities include Frisbee and agility demonstrations, pet and human costume contests, kid’s activities, shopping in Vendor BOO-tique, a half-mile parade through the park, exciting fundraising prizes and a delicious donut hole buffet for breakfast.

Online registration is open at www.wizathon.com/monster-mash-pet-dash. Online adult pre-registration is $15 and will be $20 on-site at the event. Pre-registration for kids ages 4-12 is $8 and will be $10 on-site at the event. Children under 4 years old may attend for free.

Registration includes a reusable shopping bag and access to all activities. In May, Friends began operating the Upland Animal Shelter in partnership with the City of Upland’s Animal Control Division, and is responsible for sheltering and finding homes for all animals that are available for adoption.
