 The John Rains House, the historical house in Rancho Cucamonga, is looking for craft enthusiasts to help make crafts for the gift store. Proceeds from the gift store benefit the maintenance of the house and future programs. The crafters meet each Tuesday from 9:30 a.m. to noon, although an evening session may be considered. John Rains, a businessman and grape grower, had the home built in 1860. It is located at 8810 Hemlock St. and is a historic site of the San Bernardino County Museum. It is open Tuesday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Admission fees are $5 for adults, $4 senior/military, $2.50 student/child, and free for children under 5 years.
