Actor Kyle McGruther, fresh from this year’s portrayal of Duke Vincentio in the Long Beach Shakespeare Company’s production of Measure for Measure, will share his insights on developing a back-story for characters in complex roles.

The free event will be 2 p.m. Monday, Nov. 13, at the Joslyn Center, 660 N. Mountain Ave., Claremont. Light refreshments served.

Astage, screen, and TV performer, Kyle McGruther grew up in a military family, living in four continents and learning Japanese, French, and Italian. His acting background includes a B.A. in music as well as training in roleplaying, stage combat, clowning, and horseback riding.
