Ontario Walking Tour, April 28 Ontario Heritage Annual Historic Walking Tour will be Saturday, April 28, with ticket sales at 9:30 a.m. and the tour at 10 a.m. The guide and storyteller will unravel mysteries and reveal little known stories associated with the historic homes on the tour. Imagine Pomona, dA through April The dA Gallery is launching an exhibition titled Imagine Pomona, curated by Jason LaMotte. The exhibition is intended to foster a community conversation about the city. Imagine Pomona is a sprawling project and the first of a series of exhibitions to engage, hear from, promote, and culturally remap the Pomona community. Results will be shared in December. The exhibition will showcase people, parks, schools, places of worship, murals, homelessness, homicides, taco places, and more within each of Pomona’s six amazing districts. The Art Exhibition Imagine Pomona has exhibition dates April 14 through April 30 at the gallery, 252 S Main St., Pomona.
April 22: CicLAvia in the Foothills Presented by Metro, CicLAvia is a family-friendly event, open to all ages, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday, April 22. All forms of people-powered transportation are welcome, including cyclists, scooters, rollerblades, strollers and walkers. The route is through San Dimas, La Verne, Pomona and Claremont. Participants may enter and exit the 6.5 miles of car- free streets anywhere along the route. CicLAvia is free and no registration required. Show up anywhere along the route. In addition to the car-free streets, there will be food trucks and activity booths galore, art stations, two farmers’ markets and Earth Day celebrations.
