Spring came in like a wrecking ball for redevelopment of Montclair Place, where demolition of the one-time The Broadway building opens the way for AMC Dine-In Theatres. Replacement of the former Broadway Department Store building with a dining and entertainment wing marks a significant renewal for the center, which opened on Nov. 5, 1968, with 69 stores on a single level.
