
Inland Valley Hope Partners in May hosted its 22nd Annual Golf Classic at Sierra Lakes Golf Course, with Title Sponsor Pacific Western Bank and Our House Shelter sponsors Pomona Valley Medical Center, Pacific Premier Bank and The Cheeryble Foundation.
Each year this event helps to raise funds in support of Hope Partners many programs to feed and shelter the homeless. The event raised more than $50,000 to help in the efforts of feeding and sheltering the hungry and homeless in the Inland Valley.
In N Out provided lunch to more than 120 golfers. Kenneth Hernandez of Bank of the West had the chance to win $2,500 by making a 50 yard putt. While on the course, golfers had the opportunity to participate in contests including Women’s and Men’s Longest Drive, Straightest Drive, Closet to the Pin and a Hole-in-One Contest sponsored by MK Smith Chevrolet.
During the dinner Inland Valley Hope Partners held a raffle, silent auction and live auctions with golfers bidding on baskets donated by The Candlelight Pavilion, Six Flags Amusement Park, Monte De Oro Winery and the Los Angeles Chargers.
For 50 years, Inland Valley Hope Partners has been building hope for low income families and individuals as well as homeless residents of the east end of Los Angeles County and the west end of San Bernardino County.
Inland Valley Hope Partners provides food, short-term shelter and other supportive services to more than 75,000 men, women and children each year.
