More than 1,000 cyclists are expected to take to Southern California streets for one of California’s biggest bicycling events on Saturday, Nov. 10.

Founded by the Upland Chamber of Commerce in 2005, the annual Tour de Foothills will take off from Historic Downtown Upland with four separate rides ranging from a challenging 100- mile tour to a slower-paced family ride.

Presented by Casa Colina Hospital and Centers for Healthcare in Pomona, the Upland Chamber of Commerce’s annual cycling event includes the Century (100 miles), Metric Century (62 miles), Half Metric Century (31 miles) and the family ride (12 miles) on the Pacific Electric Trail. Each route takes riders along the foothills of the San Gabriel Mountains.

All routes start and finish in downtown Upland just north of the Upland Metrolink station.

To register, visit www.tourdefoothills.com. Registration must be completed by Nov. 3 to take advantage of early checkin the night before the ride.
