Pomona Valley Hospital Medical Center Foundation’s recent 12th annual Power of Red event supported the Stead Heart and Vascular Center’s Stead Heart for Women Program, a program that offers information on risk factors, lifestyle modification, diet and exercise, as well as individual support to women in the community.

More than 100 attendees, dressed in red, heard Dr. Janet Wei of the Barbra Streisand Women’s Heart Center at Cedars-Sinai discuss “What’s In Your Medicine Cabinet: the benefits or hoaxes that come with taking medications, vitamins and supplements as it relates to heart health.”

The PVHMC Foundation hosts the Power of Red event annually in support of the American Heart Association’s Go Red for Women campaign.

Coming up: Heartbeat Gala Pomona Valley Hospital Medical Center Foundation will celebrate its 25th annual Heartbeat Gala, Saturday, March 23, at the Double Tree Hotel, Ontario. Tickets can be purchased online at pvhmc.org/GALA.
