The Chino Valley Historical Society will host the 94th Annual Pioneer Picnic at the Chino Community Building Sunday, May 19, with doors open at 11 a.m. and luncheon at 12 noon. The Old Schoolhouse Museum and old Chino Jail will be open 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. to visit before or after the potluck luncheon festivities.

Kerry Cisneroz, host of Facebook page “Chino Memories Yesterday and Today,” will take attendees down memory lane with clips and old photos of Chino’s past.

Cisneroz has collaborated with Allen P. McCombs, emeritus publisher of the Chino Champion Newspaper, to preserve and expand the archives of pictures and articles about city history.

Attendees to the picnic should bring a main dish, salad or dessert to share. Guests are also asked to bring their own table service and utensils. Complimentary water and coffee will be available.
