Founded in 2008 in Inglewood, SJLI works to improve the education, health and well-being of youth and communities of color through research, training and community mobilization.
Our organization educates college-ready scholars, social justice youth leaders and community health advocates.
We also ensure access to healthy food through the Inglewood Certified Farmers’ Market, a Community-Supported Agriculture program, and a network of 100 home, school and community gardens.
