OTHER WAYS TO GIVE
Giving Tuesday (each December 1 via Facebook). We hold occasional raffles and accept gently used canes, walkers, and wheelchairs.
About Us
Operation Walk sends medical teams around the world to give people the gift of mobility. We perform free hip and knee replacements that allow people to walk easily again, hold jobs, care for their families and move from dependent, outcast status into life. Operation Walk is a miracle that drops from the sky for these impoverished patients, who could never receive this care otherwise. We have operated on 17,000 people in 25 countries, and on 3,000 in the U.S.
Los Angeles is the flagship among 20 Operation Walk teams from the U.S. and five outside the country. Each volunteer healthcare worker on our 50-member teams gives unconditionally. It is challenging, heart-opening work.
Donations make this possible, and Operation Walk devotes 95% of the money it receives to patient care. We appreciate everyone who supports us and are grateful for our OpWalk Angels. Thanks to you, we make miracles happen.
