Valley Blvd. in San Gabriel, (1946) where he expanded space and inventory for many years. In 2014, Howard’s closed that store as the property owner wanted to use it for something else.

At 16, he turned his hobby repairing radios into a business in the back of a San Gabriel sporting goods store in 1946. Soon, he was assembling, selling and repairing television sets. TVs came in kits in those days. Business was good, so Howard opened his own store and hired a crew of salesmen and technicians.
