The best cookies are baked at home!

Christmas Cookies

Ingredients: 3 eggs

2 cups sugar

I

4.5 cups flour

I

2 cups butter Topping: Egg yolk

I

Sprinkles

I

Raisins

I

Nuts

Start by mixing the eggs with the sugar until light and fluffy in consistency. Then add most of the flour to the mixture. Next, slice the butter into small pieces and add to the egg mix along with the rest of the flour. Stir everything into a smooth dough and place in the refrigerator for several hours. Now roll the dough into a thin layer (approx. 1/2 cm thick) and cut out some festive shapes using the cookie cutters. Place the cutout cookies on a baking tray and coat them in egg yolk using a cookie brush. Decorate the cookies as you wish with sprinkles, nuts and raisins. Place cookies in the oven and bake at 400 o F until golden brown (approx. 10 minutes)
