With more than 28 years of experience in real estate finance and investment strategies, Shelly Cofini is a Distressed Asset Specialist with McMonigle Group’s successful Team Watson. Shelly assists law firms, investment funds and asset managers by providing a dignified exit strategy to their clientele. A resident of Newport Beach, she has funded more than $3 billion over her real estate finance career. In addition to assisting homeowners in distress, Shelly is a National Speakers Association Member, conducting over 1,000 speaking engagements for the real estate and lending industries worldwide.

She is a graduate of California Polytechnic State University, where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree, and the University of Santa Monica, earning a Master of Arts, Spiritual Psychology degree. Shelly enjoys southern cooking learned during her Oklahoma upbringing, spin cycling, and is a college football fan. She spends her free time as a volunteer coach for the Newport Mesa Girls Fast Pitch Softball League.
