Real Estate’s Irvine office invites the community to lend a hand in the fight against local hunger this season at its annual holiday auction. Join Irvine-area agents, clients & friends to bid on exciting gift certificates, baskets, products & services donated by area companies, including Knott’s Berry Farm, the Los Angeles Angels, Lazy Dog Café & Ben & Jerry’s, just to name a few. Proceeds from this fun-filled event will provide critical supplies & programs to families in financial crisis under the auspices of Irvine-based Families Forward.
“Community assistance is more vital than ever this year as we are witnessing a dramatic rise in demand for food aid among South County families,” said First Team agent & Families Forward volunteer Charleen Nagata Newhouse, who is coordinating the auction. “With an alarming number of families struggling to provide basic needs, we invite everyone to join First Team’s effort to bring relief to our neighbors hit hardest by ongoing economic instability.”
First Team’s Community Auction will take place on Thursday, December 8 from 12:00-3:00 p.m. at the First Team-Irvine branch office, 4040 Barranca Parkway, #100, Irvine, CA 92604. Participants may also bring non-perishable canned goods for the Families Forward food bank which is currently servicing more than 400 families each month.
