Fourth quarter points to stronger market in 2012

Sari Ward

According to Sari Ward, an agent for Prudential California Realty in Laguna Niguel, the real estate market this past December was far from cold. “I am happy to report that I met some very highly motivated buyers and several of my listings received multiple offers,” said Ward, who was literally raised in the business of Orange County real estate.

“A lot of people think the holidays are one of the slowest times of year,” Ward said. “But the success that I had with holding open houses this December made me happy that I convinced my sellers to let me aggressively market their home. The people that are looking to buy are very serious because they recognize that there are a lot of great values out there right now.”

Ward recently formed a real estate team with her mother Maryann Orlando and her brother Greg Orlando. Offering more than 30 years of combined experience, the Orlando team ranked number 45 for the number of transactions conducted through the first three quarters of 2011, out of more than

700 Prudential agents in Orange County.

Recently named one of Orange County’s “Five Star Real Estate Agents,” Ward attributes her success to her extensive local knowledge, combined with the strategic marketing plans that she develops for all of her clients’ listings. The distinction is a result of a survey conducted by Orange Coast Magazine, in which buyers and subscribers were asked to rate local agents based on their integrity, communication skills and customer service.

“I would like to thank my clients for taking the time to vote for me,” said Ward. “The sense of fulfillment that comes from helping people achieve their goals has made real estate the perfect career choice, and I am very excited about the coming year.”

A licensed real estate professional since 2006 and an Orange County native, Ward added that, “So far the momentum from December has continued into the new year. Buyers are

capitalizing on the historically low interest rates and the unprecedented affordability of homes in our area. I would strongly encourage those buyers who have been waiting on the fence to enter the market, as their window of opportunity could be closing.”

Prior to her career in real estate, she leveraged her MBA to work as director of operations for one of the fastest growing technology companies in the Silicon Valley, Salesforce.com, second only to Google.

“Sari Ward surpassed all of our expectations during the recent sale of our home,” said Renee Ballou, one of Ward’s clients.

A resident of Beacon Hill, Ward is happily married and the mother of two sons, Pierce Jackson and Beckett Mason.
