Covington rises to top 10 in North America

Prudential California Realty is pleased to congratulate Shauna Covington for her outstanding sales performance in 2011. A perennial market leader, Covington ranked in the top 10 for individual Prudential agents in North America.

Covington received Prudential’s coveted Pinnacle Award for 2011 at Prudential’s National Sales Convention in Orlando in March of this year. This award is only bestowed on the top 10 Prudential agents in all of North America. She was also proud to accept the company’s Chairman’s Circle

Diamond award, an achievement that ranks her in the top one-half of one percent of more than 54,000 Prudential agents nationwide.

Before she entered the real estate business, Covington, a graduate from USC’s School of Education, was an award-winning educator for the Newport Mesa School District. From her experience with teaching, she adopted a pragmatic business philosophy that has been of substantial benefit to her clients.

“For a teacher, it is very important to

recognize that there is more than one way to solve a problem,” said Covington. “In

real estate, it is essential to analyze and research a variety of options in order to

create an ideal solution.” She added that, “To ensure my clients receive a high

standard of service, I listen carefully to their needs and view every situation from

their perspective.”

In previous years as a project manager

and sales agent for Covington Homes, Covington excelled by utilizing her talent

for negotiation, communicating and

networking. It was also during this time that she developed her ability to visualize a property’s potential and knowledge of marketing.

Covington’s personalized and thorough approach to real estate has made her the leading agent at Prudential Laguna Beach for the better part of a decade. “Shauna’s work ethic and integrity have given her an impeccable reputation,” said Jim Vermilya, manager of the office.
