Klug, Michelle Triepke and Joan Bannigan of Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices California Properties are hosting the 8th annual Dove Canyon Garage Sale from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 11 together with a colleague from another firm. Hundreds of homeowners will be participating.
After the sale, homeowners from Dove Canyon generously donate unwanted items to the Salvation Army.
As a result of the sale last year, seven truckloads of donations were sent directly to the charity.

Klug came up with garage sale idea eight years ago and soon Triepke and Bannigan joined the event. “It takes a lot of planning to make it successful,” said Klug. “It’s great to see the resident being productive by getting their garages cleaned out and also having fun,” Triepke adds.
The sale will be held rain or shine, and can be found by taking RSM Parkway to Plano Trabuco, and then turning left into Dove Canyon.
There will be no early entrance, and passes for the day will be handed out at the gate.
A wide variety of items
will be available, including furniture, electronics, tools, sporting goods and toys. With 1,262 homes in the community, the 2013 event had 400 homes participating.
