RIVERSIDE,

CA. - At 11:00 a.m. on November 5th, the 2014 Building Industry Show (BIS 2014) kicks off in not just a new location, but a completely renovated Riverside Convention Center! Moving to a new location can be risky for an annual event, but with so much construction happening in Riverside and surrounding areas, and given the fact that the Convention Center is just a short commute against traffic from Orange County, the move will prove to be a wise, future-oriented decision for the BIA of Southern California (BIASC), the host of the annual BIS show.

Now back to its original two-day format and boasting a show floor filled with 60% more exhibitors than last year, the show’s theme of “Excitement Building” is 100% accurate. While it will certainly be a first class trade show, those who have been going to BIS

for many years will tell you it is an outstanding educational and networking experience for Southern California’s building industry.

for nearly three decades, BIS has been Southern California’s “farmers market” type of trade show in that it truly draws from local professionals for both exhibitors and attendees. those in attendance will have the pleasure of running into their current colleagues but also enjoy the convenience of generating new business opportunities.

New at BIS 2014: first is the new Exhibitor “Cool Products” Awards program recognizing those exhibitors whose products demonstrate

exciting innovations. Award recipients will be featured in avariety of BIASC communications

and receive prominent placement at the all new Conservation Corner. Putting anew twist on the BIS Education
