Beach residents were able to dispose of their old electronics and documents in a clean, green and efficient manner at Surterre’s first eWaste and document shredding event of the year.
Held at the Laguna Beach School District on Jan. 10, approximately 7,174 pounds of electronic waste was collected.
Everyone was encouraged to bring old electronics (television sets, fax machines, printers, etc.) and documents for recycling. There were no forms to complete, and any stored data was safely and com pletely
eradicated.
