E-BIKING ON RANCHO MISSION VIEJO

What’s an e-bike, you ask? An e-bike is an electric bicycle that is perfect for powering up the rolling hills of Rancho Mission Viejo and beyond. The e-bike’s pedal assistance allows Ranch residents of all ages to be active while determining the level of exertion that is right for them.Woven throughout Rancho Mission Viejo, or The Ranch, is a multi-modal system of bikeways,community pathways and hiking trails, making it possible to walk, hike, bike or use a Neighborhood Electric Vehicle (NEV) while enjoying the backcountry panoramic views and scenic surroundings that provide the idyllic background to life onThe Ranch.

Designed to foster villageto-village connectivity and non-vehicular mobility, the Ranch-wide multi-modal system makes it easy forresidents to access the shops and casual eateries within Sendero Marketplace and the vast array of amenities on The Ranch, like the welcoming Canyon Coffee at The Canyon House, community farms, the awardwinning Hilltop Club, and The Hacienda (exclusive clubhouse for Gavilan residents age 55- plus).

Trail connections also link The Ranch to the County of Orange Regional hiking and biking trails network (leading from O’Neill Regional Park into San

Juan Capistrano and down to Doheny State Beach) and will eventually connect to Casper Wilderness Park.
