To power couple, it’s just a hobby
The Hollywood Regency-style residence, formerly the longtime home of actress and philanthropist Marjorie Lord, was designed and built in 1962 by noted architect John Elgin Woolf. Prior to last year’s sale, the home was restored by Los Angeles-based design firm Marmol Radziner.

Far from dusty trails
This Italian Revival-style house in the Mid-City community of Lafayette Square was completed for well-to-do rancher Seth Noble in 1925. Calvin Coolidge was U.S. president; F. Scott Fitzgerald had published “The Great Gatsby,” and actor Paul Newman was born that year.

The firm’s principals –– identical twins Jason and Brett Oppenheim –– largely keep to their laptops, while the women tour properties for clients but also spend much of their on-screen time gossiping: hunky men; client poaching; and whether moissanite, a faux diamond, counts as an engagement ring (of course not).
