Dear Readers,

In this year’s Los Angeles Times “Best of,” all the Southland was invited to nominate their favorite businesses in a variety of categories – from best coffeehouse to best music venue and everything in-between.

Then readers voted for their faves in five regions:

• Orange County

• South Bay • Long Beach • South Los Angeles • Southeast Los Angeles

• San Fernando Valley • Ventura

• San Gabriel Valley • Inland Empire

• Westside • Downtown • East Los Angeles

All the votes have been counted – some races were close, there were ties, and in others, one nominee ran away with it. And now we’re excited to announce the businesses that were voted Best as well as all of the Finalists in the regional 2022 Best of the Southland reader survey.

When you’re out and about visiting a local craft brewery, shopping for furniture or taking your four-legged family member to the vet, look for the L.A. Times “Best of the Southland” seal on the door or in the window, and you can be assured that those businesses have earned this coveted recognition from readers just like yourself.

We encourage you to support these local businesses and add them to your list of favorites! Then look out for the final round of voting in the fall which will determine this year’s best in each category in all of the Southland.
