I
want to say thank you to all of the Burbank residents, business community members and readers of the Burbank Leader who voted this year.
I am honored to serve on your city council, to be your Mayor this year and to be voted Best Politician.
I’ve spent the last 50-plus years of my life in Burbank, attending B.U.S.D. schools, raising my family and serving the residents proudly in our Fire Department and on numerous city boards and committees.
I am so grateful for your continued confidence and support. I welcome and encourage you to provide your input on any city matter to your city council. Please do not hesitate to call or email me and/or attend the Burbank City Council meetings.
We are all so fortunate to call this great city our home. Thank you again, Burbank! A few words on behalf of Sandy Talamantes, R.N., B.S.N.
Thank you to all of the readers of the Burbank Leader and to all of Sandy’s patients who took the time to vote this year!
This is Sandy’s 7th consecutive year being voted the “Best Nurse” in Burbank.
She
graduated from Burbank High School (we’ll just say “a few” years ago),
has been married to her husband Jess for 41 years; has three grown
children: Eric, Scott and Kristin; two grandchildren: Lana and Shane
with a third on the way!
Sandy has been with Providence St. Joseph Medical Center since
June of 1976, more than 40 years, and she still loves what she does in
the Cardiac Telemetry unit. She shares the honor of “Best Nurse” with
every one that she works with.
