Jeff Plumer serves as general counsel of Newport Beach-based Evolus, Inc. Evolus is a performance beauty company with a customer-centric approach focused on delivering breakthrough products. In 2019, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration approved Jeuveau, the first and only neurotoxin dedicated exclusively to aesthetics.
Plumer first joined and served as the vice president of legal since Evolus’ initial public offering in 2018. He has been instrumental in achieving key company milestones including the Evolus IPO and subsequent financing rounds to fund the commercial launch of Jeuveau. Most recently and notably, in February of 2021, Plumer led the efforts for agreements to fully resolve all outstanding litigation. The future of Evolus was dependent on the successful outcome of this unique case and due to Plumer’s expertise and legal savviness, Evolus was able to successfully reach agreements to keep Jeuveau on the U.S. market.
Plumer first joined and served as the vice president of legal since Evolus’ initial public offering in 2018. He transferred to Evolus upon its IPO after serving as the vice president of legal to Evolus' sole stockholder from 2014 to early 2018 and was promoted to general counsel in October 2020. Earlier in his career, he practiced as a corporate securities and mergers & acquisitions attorney at K&L Gates LLP. He has been a critical ingredient to Evolus’ success from inception to ITC cases and beyond. In all areas, he acts with impeccable integrity and embodies Evolus’ culture of transparency and impact. The past two years have taken many unexpected turns for Evolus and Plumer has successfully navigated the waters at every turn. His leadership, influence and legal guidance have, and continue, to clear the runway for Evolus as the company follows an upward trajectory in the beauty space.

Gracye Cheng has served as general counsel and senior vice president at GoodRx since October 2019 and has been with the company since November 2014. Previously, Cheng served as vice president of legal and business development.
Cheng holds an A.B. from Harvard College and a J.D. from Harvard Law School. She oversees all aspects of the business and played a key role in leading the company from a small startup through its highly successful IPO last September.
Since then, she has overseen the acquisitions of HealthiNation, RxSaver and ScriptCycle, as well as established the deals behind the company’s Manufacturing Solutions business.

Khoi D. Dang

Khoi D. Dang is a highly effective and skilled senior executive and in-house general counsel for First Choice Bank. He has a proven track record of delivering innovative legal and business solutions based upon sound and resourceful strategies. Most recently, during the pandemic he played a critical role in rolling out the government assistance programs such as the Paycheck Protection Program as well as the Main Street Lending facility. He ensured the bank had all the proper policies, procedures and documentation to promptly and effectively execute these programs and ensure clients received funding quickly. Dang is skilled at managing legal and transactional risks, leveraging core competencies, and serving as a sound advisor to the executive management team and the board of directors on corporate governance, compliance and enterprise risk. Since joining First Choice Bank, he has contributed immensely to the bank’s ability to deliver on its motto of being “First in Speed, Service, and Solutions.”

Janet Savage

As the senior vice president of legal affairs at MarVista Entertainment, Janet Savage drove the company’s pivotal approach, empowering the independent film studio to produce over 50 films since the pandemic began. In addition to expertly negotiating changes in existing contracts, she has contractually facilitated the company’s growth amongst new and existing buyers, as well as supported drastically increased deal volume with long-time buyers. Savage’s wealth of experience and successful contract negotiations throughout the COVID-19 pandemic have been essential for the company to resume its high volume of productions during such a strenuous time for the industry. While many major studios remained dark for an extended period, Savage worked tirelessly to reexamine existing contracts and address the concerns and liabilities of a new COVID-19 production environment. As the pandemic restrictions have begun to ease, Savage has once again set her sights towards continually expanding the company’s platform-agnostic content capabilities with key global deals.
