Tyrine Shawron Laila Aman, a fourth-year associate at Ivie McNeill Wyatt Purcell & Diggs, has quickly established herself as a skilled litigator in labor and employment law. She made history as a Provisionally Licensed Lawyer in 2020, excelling beyond traditional counterparts. Aman won her first trial as a second-year associate, securing dismissal through a motion for nonsuit. She also played a key role in a groundbreaking employment arbitration, winning nearly $1 million for her client. Recognized as her firm’s MVP and Top Biller, she has managed 100+ cases, securing over $1 million in settlements last year. She leads the firm’s Young Lawyers Committee and lectures at Howard University. Passionate about community service, Aman is active in the Black Women Lawyers Association and John M.
