The Claremont/West- End Auxiliary 2014 annual home tour will be held from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., Saturday and Sunday, April 26-27, to raise money for Children’s Fund, a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping at-risk children.

“The homes that are featured this year vary from a 7,800-square-foot home set in the property’s forest of mature palms to a completely remodeled 1948 bungalow,” says Kerry Castel De Oro, member of the Claremont/ West-End Auxiliary. “And, there is a renovated California ranch that provides a background for the homeowner’s extensive art collection.

“The events that Claremont/West-End Auxiliary host are organized to help children who are in great need,” she said. “We care so much for these children, and we want to help make a difference in their lives.” 

Founded in 1958 The Claremont/West- End Auxiliary was founded in 1958 and has been a strong supporter of children in need. Since 1992, the Auxiliary has supported Children’s Fund by raising funds, promot ing community awareness and carrying out projects in support of children in need.

There will be opportunity drawings which will include a chance to win a $500 shopping spree at Victoria Gardens, $500 in gift cards to various retail stores, restaurants and entertainment venues, or a $500 gift card to an Apple store. Complimentary refreshments and various artisans selling their creations will be on hand.

Tickets are available at many locations throughout Claremont, Upland and Rancho Cucamonga.

Locations are listed on the Children’s Fund web site at www.childrensfundonline.org. Tickets can also be purchased at the Children’s Fund office at 348 W. Hospitality Lane, Suite 110, San Bernardino. Tickets are $30 pre-paid or $35 at the door. The homes may be visited in any order.
