For 100 years, from our family to yours

For 100 years, Reynolds Buick GMC Isuzu has been a family-owned and operated automotive dealership in Covina and West Covina. Over the course of a century we have stood the test of shifting economic climates and technological change.

“Pop” Reynolds became the Buick dealer for of only a desk and telephone.

From the start, the emphasis was solidly on customer service.

When Pop sold an automobile, he would personally pick it up from The Howard Automotive Company and deliver it to his customer. This laid the foundation for quality customer service that remains the basis of the dealership for 100 years and counting.

With WWII, General Motors shifted auto production to tanks and war trucks. Pop’s commitment to customer service sustained Reynolds Buick through providing parts and service to customers even when there were no new cars to sell.

In 1958, Pop sold Reynolds Buick GMC to his son Pete Reynolds, who launched a SoCal Buick racing legacy through sponsorship of legendary drag racer, Lennie “Pop” Kennedy, whose wins included the 1961 NHRA nationals.

In 1999, the Reynolds family legacy deepened, when Pete sold the dealership to his son, Don Reynolds, who continues to own and oversee its operations today.

Today, due to the dealership’s strong reputation of customer service and the loyalty of our deeply appreciated customers, Reynolds Buick GMC is a leader in GM regional sales. We remain dedicated to generations of loyal customers throughout Southern California.

The Reynolds family and staff thank you and your family
