The 42nd Annual Lake Arrowhead Home Tour and VIP Gala will be Saturday, Sept. 17.

The tour will be 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and includes a spectacular lake front estate to which guests are taken by boat shuttle from the Lake Arrowhead Village.

The fee is $50, which includes a Wine and Cheese Reception at the Burnt Mill Club from noon until 5 p.m.

Shuttles start at 9 a.m. and the last land or boat shuttle leaves at 4 p.m.

For those who want to make it a special VIP weekend, a must is the VIP Gala on Friday, Sept. 16 from 6 to 9 p.m. at the Chez Foret Nous, only available to view at the VIP Gala. The cost for the VIP Gala and the Saturday Home Tour is only $110 with a cash bar.

Seven homes will be on the tour, one on Friday’s VIP Gala and six on Saturday.All are amazingly decorated, all showcase architectural excellence. Some of the homes are privately nested in the forest while others have stunning lake views.

More than 200 volunteers collaborate to make the tour unforgettable.

Lake Arrowhead is just 30 minutes from the 210 freeway in San Bernardino County on scenic Highway 18, and only a short drive from anywhere in Southern California.

Out of respect for the owners, children under 12 and pets will not be permitted on tour. Be sure to wear closed-toe, boat friendly comfortable walking shoes. High heels, flip-flops and ballet slippers are not appropriate.
