The City of Rancho Cucamonga is accepting applications for parade entries for the City’s Founders Day Community Parade themed - “Celebrating Fun and Games” – presented by Mark Christopher Auto Center.

The parade will be 9 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 12 at Day Creek Boulevard, just south of Foothill Boulevard, and continue south to Jack Benny Drive and conclude at the Rancho Cucamonga Epicenter.

The city encourages businesses, schools, youth groups, and other organizations to submit parade entry applications to participate in the Founders Day Community Parade.

There is no entrance fee. All participants must pre-register at www. RCpark.com by Oct. 17.

Groups can create small floats or marching units. All participants must carry a 6’x 2 ½’identification banner and be uniformed, costumed, or appropriately dressed to represent the parade theme.

Groups will be scored and awards will be handed out for categories like Best Representation of Theme, Most Spirited, Most Participation, and Best Overall Float. The competitive Founders Award will be presented to the group that best embodies the spirit of the day.
