Pomona Valley Hospital Medical Center (PVHMC) Foundation is hosting the 10th annual Power of Red event to raise awareness about heart disease in women and funds to support the Stead Heart and Vascular Center’s Stead Heart for Women Program.

This year’s event theme is “Dancing for your Heart,” with an evening filled with flamingo, Zumba, and tap. Guests are encouraged to wear red.

Following dinner, guests will enjoy ice cream donated by Burt and Rocky’s – Claremont.

The event will be 5:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday, April 18 at Fairplex Conference Center, 601 W. McKinley Ave. Pomona, CA 91768.

Tickets are $60 for dinner only or $100 Power of Red membership, includes dinner and special membership gift.

The PVHMC Foundation hosts this event annually in support of the American Heart Association’s Go Red for Women campaign, which is part of an ongoing effort to educate the public about heart disease in women, and to advocate for preventative services.

All proceeds from the event benefit PVHMC’s Stead Heart for Women, a program that offers information on risk factors, lifestyle modification, diet and exercise, as well as individual support to women in the community.
