Travelers Aid at the Ontario International Airport is seeking volunteers to work four-hour shifts once weekly to assist travelers and guests and the information desks. Training and orientation is included. “They are our “Ministers of Hospitality & First Impressions and play a key role as one of the main touch-points travelers have in their interaction with the airport,” said Dan Adamus, Chief Marketing Officer. Duties
include making a phone call for a passenger’s loved one, arranging
transportation for a stranded traveler, passing out a color sheet to a
child, paging, assisting with directions and visitor information all
with a warm welcome and a friendly smile. The
City of Ontario has expressed its appreciation for the work that the
volunteers put in to make the travelers and those in need feel
comfortable and at home while at the Airport. The Volunteers served over 100,000 travelers with 16,021 volunteer hours at Ontario International Airport in 2016. If you are interested in joining this committed group of volunteers, visit www.travelersaidie.org for more information or call the office at (909) 544-5378. See also
