Friends of Upland Animal Shelter (Friends) second annual Monster Mash Pet Dash will be noon to 4 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 21 at Upland Memorial Park at 1100 E. Foothill Blvd, Upland.

The Monster Mash Pet Dash supports care of homeless animals at Upland Animal Shelter. This fun-filled event features a pet walk, costume contests and prizes for pets and people, pumpkin decorating contests and prizes, kid’s activities, music, food, and shopping in a Vendor BOO-tique.

Individuals and teams who earn the most in sponsorships for their pet walk will receive great fundraising prizes.

In May 2016, Friends began operating the Upland Animal Shelter in partnership with the City of Upland’sAnimal Control Division, and is responsible for sheltering and finding homes for all animals that are available for adoption.

As a non-profit charitable organization, Friends relies on private funding and support to care for lost and abandoned animals.
